Raising The Bar In The Cattle Industry
Elton Landry and Joey Landry, father and son, share multiple business interests.
Our family has been involved for over 30 years in the farm, ranch, and feed supply business, construction for farm and ranch facilities, and consistently involved in the Braford and F1 commercial cattle business.
In 2016, after sharing with a good friend Danny Uriegas my concern for safety at my age when penning, working cows and tagging calves, he invited us to an E6 Beefmaster sale in Columbus, Texas.
This experience was exceptional, especially the opportunity to meet, and get to know the Beefmaster community.
We purchased E6 lots at this sale and returned to our farm.
On our return trip, Joey and I discussed our experience, the people we met, and decided we wanted to be a part of this group, a true testament to the character, and integrity of the Beefmaster Community.
We started to transition our operation to E6 Beefmasters, and when we experienced the Beefmasters many great traits, temperament and the ease of maintaining, we were sold. These heifers were a joy to be around and own. We were especially pleased when we turned them over for a profit the following year and consecutive years following.
In 2019 we decided to venture into registered Beefmaster cattle when we purchased our first donor, CF Classy Kitty, a Riptide, Madam Secretary daughter at the Collier Farms Advantage Sale.
We work very diligently to pursue long term business relationships, build trust, and friendships along the way.
